Tech giants to attend Trump’s inauguration
Leading tech CEOs are set to make a prominent appearance at President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, with several companies having donated significant sums to the Presidential Inaugural Committee.
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, whose company contributed USD 1 million to the fund, is confirmed to attend, sources told CBS News. Similarly, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Google CEO Sundar Pichai, whose companies also donated USD 1 million each, are also expected at the ceremony.

TikTok CEO Shou Chew is also slated to attend amidst uncertainty about the app’s US operations following a Supreme Court decision that upheld a law potentially leading to its ban.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk, tapped by Trump alongside businessman Vivek Ramaswamy to explore federal spending cuts, has also confirmed his attendance. Musk expressed his excitement on X, saying he is “honored” to join Bezos and Zuckerberg on the inauguration dais, typically reserved for Cabinet members, nominees, and other dignitaries.
According to Bloomberg, other tech leaders such as Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, and Apple CEO Tim Cook are also expected to be present. However, the companies have not yet commented on their attendance.
