Palestinian organizations address questions on prisoner release lists
Palestinian Prisoners' Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club issued a joint statement Saturday regarding questions about the names of prisoners slated for release, as published by the 'Israeli' Prison Service.
The organizations clarified that the lists shared by the occupation authorities were released to complete legal formalities on their end. They emphasized that these translated lists originate solely from the 'Israeli' Prison Service.
The statement stressed that neither the resistance factions directly involved in the exchange process nor relevant Palestinian institutions have issued any official lists of those to be freed.

Regarding the number of prisoners set for release, the statement noted that it depends primarily on the number of detainees held by the resistance and their health conditions.
It confirmed that the names of released prisoners will be announced gradually, following the same process used during previous exchanges in Nov. 2023, and in alignment with the phases of the agreement during the exchange days.
