Jordan welcomes 2025

Jordanians ushered in 2025 with a spirit of hope and ambition, filled with wishes for a better year of peace and prosperity.

As they closed the previous year, Jordanians began the new one with a profound sense of solidarity with the people of Gaza – most notably in a demonstration that took place near the American Embassy on New Year’s Eve.

Many expressed their unwavering support for Palestinians, calling for an end to aggression and the cessation of what they described as a campaign of extermination, hoping for a future of safety and stability for Gazans.
