Another “Israeli” soldier killed amid north Gaza expanded operations

An “Israeli” soldier was killed in north Gaza battles, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) said in a statement today.

He is identified as Sergeant Uriel Peretz, 23 years old, of the Kfir Brigade’s Netzah Yehuda Battalion, and was killed today, Monday in the city of Beit Hanoun in the Strip.

The statement added another three soldiers from the same battalion were wounded in the same incident.

The IOF did not disclose the details of his death, but it is currently battling various Palestinian factions in an expanded operation in north Gaza it launched on Oct. 5. 2024 claiming its aims are to prevent Hamas from regrouping in the area.
