A relative of Yanes announced the news on Facebook, writing, "Our beloved uncle, the esteemed artist Hisham Yanes, has passed away. To God we belong, and to Him we shall return."
Yanes, whose career blossomed in the 1980s, leaves behind a rich legacy spanning theater, television, radio, writing, and production.
He began his career as a director and producer at Jordan Radio, later joining the BBC, where he gained recognition for his series “The Good Man”.
Over his career, Yanes wrote more than 82 television series and 15 political plays, including New World Order, Peace, Oh Peace, and Normalization.
He also pioneered the first school theater in Abu Dhabi, contributing significantly to Gulf drama.
