'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
Netanyahu not in Cairo for ceasefire talks, spokesperson says
'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was reportedly traveling to Cairo on Tuesday to discuss a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, according to sources familiar with the talks, Reuters reported.
The sources indicated that the ceasefire deal is expected to be finalized and signed in the coming days.
A few minutes later, Netanyahu's spokesperson Omer Dostri took to X, previously Twitter, to deny such statements.
"Contrary to rumors, Prime Minister Netanyahu is not in Cairo," he wrote.
