'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was reportedly traveling to Cairo on Tuesday to discuss a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, according to sources familiar with the talks, Reuters reported.

The sources indicated that the ceasefire deal is expected to be finalized and signed in the coming days.

A few minutes later, Netanyahu's spokesperson Omer Dostri took to X, previously Twitter, to deny such statements.

"Contrary to rumors, Prime Minister Netanyahu is not in Cairo," he wrote.

Additionally, Hamas confirmed that, in light of the serious and positive discussions taking place in Doha today under the auspices of the Qatari and Egyptian mediators, reaching an agreement for a ceasefire and a prisoner exchange is possible if the Israeli Occupation stops imposing new conditions.
