Jordan-Morocco direct flights to return
The first session of the Jordanian-Moroccan Consular Committee concluded last week in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.
The session was chaired by Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Al-Qudah, Director of the Directorate of Operations, Consular Affairs, and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan, and Ambassador Fouad Al-Qadamiri, Director of the Consular and Social Affairs Directorate at the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The committee discussed several consular issues of mutual concern to both nations, including enhancing cooperation in legal and judicial fields, digitizing consular services and exchanging expertise, simplifying visa procedures in both countries, and resuming direct flights between Jordan and Morocco.
The committee agreed to hold its second session in the Jordanian capital, Amman, with the date to be set later.
Representatives from the ministries of justice, interior, and public security of both countries, as well as the Jordanian embassy in Rabat, also attended the session.
