Lebanon death toll rises to 4,047
Lebanese Health Minister Firass Abiad announced that the death toll from the aggression has risen to at least 4,047 people over more than a year of Israeli Occupation attacks.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health also reported 16,638 injuries as a result of the aggression.
He added that the majority of the casualties occurred after September 15, emphasizing that "the actual numbers may be higher, as there are martyrs whose deaths have not been documented."
- The Support Front -
On September 30, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced the start of ground military operations along the border in southern Lebanon with the occupied Palestinian territories.
Over the past months, Hezbollah and the IOF have exchanged cross-border fire. Hezbollah has repeatedly refused to halt its operations in Lebanon unless the war in Gaza stops.
In October 2023, Hezbollah opened a "support front" for Gaza following the launch of Operation Aqsa Typhoon.
