He warned that any violation of the ceasefire deal in Lebanon would be met with a strong military response.
“We will strike Hezbollah if they breach the ceasefire,” Netanyahu said Monday. “We retain full military freedom of action in the event of any violations by Hezbollah.”
In a video statement made after the cabinet meeting, Netanyahu praised the resilience of settlers in the north of the Israeli Occupation amid the ongoing clashes.
“I am proud of the steadfastness of the residents in northern Israel and remain fully committed to their security,” Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu claimed victory on seven fronts. “We have made significant progress in the war and are determined to return all northern residents to their homes,” he said.
He called for the elimination of the Iranian threat a top priority for “Israel”.
“We are committed to dismantling Hamas and have pushed Hezbollah back by decades.”
Netanyahu pledged to ensure the safe return of “Israeli” captives and to continue military operations until victory is secured.
He also issued a stark warning to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad: “Assad must understand that he is playing with fire.”
