Student passes away at school in Marka

The Abbas Al Akkad Secondary School for Boys in Marka announced the passing of Omar Marwan Nizar Jarar, a first-year high school student.

The school stated that the student passed away following a sudden health incident.

Marka District Education Directorate explained that the student had been with his classmates as usual when he suddenly suffered a health crisis. The school contacted his guardian, who arrived quickly due to the close proximity of the student’s home to the school.

The Directorate added that the student was diligent and well-liked by his peers and teachers, and extended its heartfelt condolences to his family.
