Golani Brigade platoon commander killed in south Lebanon

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced that one officer was killed during fighting in southern Lebanon earlier today.

Another officer was also seriously wounded.

The slain soldier is identified as Lt. Ivri Dickshtein, 21 years old, a platoon commander in the Golani Brigade’s 51st Battalion.

According to an initial probe by the IOF, he was killed in an exchange of fire after entering a building with at least five Hezbollah fighters.
