"Israeli" authorities warn citizens to avoid attending France-"Israel" football match in Paris
Israeli Occupation authorities issued a strong warning to their citizens, advising them against attending the upcoming football match between France and Israel scheduled for Thursday at the Stade de France in Paris, Middle East Monitor reported.
This caution comes in the wake of violent incidents involving "Israeli" fans during a match in Amsterdam last week, where supporters attacked Arabs, tore down Palestinian flags from private properties, and engaged in racist behavior.
The "Israeli" National Security Council urged "Israelis" to refrain from attending international sports or cultural events, particularly those involving "Israeli" teams, citing security concerns. The advisory specifically pointed to the France-"Israel" match, urging citizens to avoid participating in such events abroad.
Despite these warnings, French President Emmanuel Macron is expected to attend the match in Paris, where France will face "Israel" in a UEFA Nations League fixture. French officials have emphasized their commitment to proceeding with the event as planned, underscoring the extensive security measures in place. Thousands of police officers will be deployed around the stadium to ensure the safety of attendees, with special focus on protecting the visiting fans.
In the wake of last week’s disturbances in Amsterdam, Dutch authorities have confirmed that "Israeli" supporters attacked a taxi driver and desecrated Palestinian flags displayed on homes in the area. The attacks led to a backlash from local residents, who intervened to defend their property. The incident has sparked heightened concerns about the potential for similar unrest during the Paris match.
