Trump vs. Harris: Moo Deng makes bold 2024 election prediction

Moo Deng, a four-month-old pygmy hippo from Thailand, has made waves in the world of electoral forecasting.

The adorable young hippo, who has quickly gained internet fame, has predicted that former US President Donald Trump will win the 2024 presidential election.

Moo Deng's prediction came during a viral video which has since been shared widely across social media.

In the video, Moo Deng was presented with two fruit plates, each decorated with the names of the major US presidential candidates: Trump, representing the Republican Party, and Kamala Harris, the Democratic contender.

The plates were placed in front of Moo Deng, and without hesitation, the tiny hippo approached and took a large bite from the plate labeled with Trump’s name.

This rapid selection has captured the attention of political enthusiasts around the world, with many jokingly suggesting that Moo Deng’s choice could be a sign of things to come in November. 

Moo Deng, whose name translates to "Bouncy Pork" or "Bouncy Pig" in Thai, became an internet sensation in September after her playful antics at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi, southern Thailand, were posted on Facebook.

Since then, her popularity has only grown, with fans creating fan art and even holding polls to choose her name. The zoo has also seen a surge in visitors, eager to see the young hippo in person.
