Poll: “68 percent of Israelis favor Trump as best for Israel's interests"
A recent poll by the Israel Institute for Regional Foreign Policies, known as Mitvim, found that 68 percent of "Israelis" believe US presidential candidate Donald Trump would best serve Israeli Occupation's interests, according to AFP.
The survey, conducted in September, highlighted the strong support Trump maintains among "Israelis", with many viewing his policies and previous administration as beneficial to Israeli Occupation's regional and international standing.
On Nov. 5, this sentiment was reflected in Tel Aviv where billboards featuring messages of support for Trump were prominently displayed, underscoring the extent of local backing.
"Israeli" voters appear to associate Trump with policies that align closely with their national interests, especially regarding security, regional diplomacy, and US-Israeli Occupation relations.
The poll’s findings come as Americans head to the polls, and with many "Israelis" closely following the election outcome, the results could have a lasting impact on US-Israeli Occupation relations moving forward.
