US State Department urges "Israel" to address settler violence in West Bank
The US State Department called on "Israel" to take immediate measures to address the escalating violence committed by settlers in the occupied West Bank.
The official statement comes in response to the recent incident in Al-Bireh, near Ramallah, where approximately 20 vehicles were set ablaze by "Israeli" settlers.
The State Department highlighted the critical role of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in facilitating humanitarian aid, stressing that there are currently no viable means to distribute significant assistance in Gaza without UNRWA's involvement.
Additionally, the US expressed grave concern regarding recent military actions by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in northern Gaza. Reports indicate that a building housing children was bombed, prompting the State Department to assert that "Israel" cannot sustain a prolonged aggression in Gaza.
