Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have targeted multiple military bases in western and southwestern Tehran, according to Iranian state media and reports from Al Jazeera. The "Israeli" military confirmed that the attack is currently in its initial stages.

Hebrew media reported a second wave of attacks has begun, with explosions being heard in Shiraz, indicating the conflict’s expanding scope.

Sources from the IOF indicate that Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi is overseeing the operation from an undisclosed air force shelter. Despite the escalating situation, Iranian relief agencies in Tehran reported no incidents requiring immediate intervention within the capital or its surroundings.

An 'Israeli' official clarified that the strikes are not aimed at Iran's nuclear facilities or oil fields but are focused on military targets that have posed a threat in the past or could do so in the future.

The Pentagon said that the United States is not involved in the attacks and stated that 'Israel' had previously notified them of its intentions to conduct strikes against Iran.

As the military operations continue, Channel 12 reported that there has been no aircraft takeoff or landing at Tehran airports for over an hour. However, the director of Imam Khomeini International Airport assured that the airport remains stable and operational according to schedule, with no security incidents reported.
