Al-Qassam Brigades launch M90 rocket barrage at Tel Aviv
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced they had launched a barrage of rockets at Tel Aviv on Monday, striking deep within the occupied territories.
In their statement, the Brigades specified that they targeted Tel Aviv with "M90" rockets as part of their ongoing campaign of attrition, which they described as a response to the Israeli Occupation's massacres against civilians and the deliberate displacement of the Palestinian people.
Hebrew media sources reported that five rockets were fired toward the Tel Aviv area, with some intercepted by the Iron Dome defense system.
Shrapnel from the intercepted rockets reportedly fell in Holon, a city south of Tel Aviv, where sirens sounded across greater Tel Aviv and the city center.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) confirmed that five rockets were launched toward Tel Aviv from the Khan Younis area in southern Gaza. According to Hebrew media, two injuries were reported due to the explosion of a rocket in Holon.
Additionally, Al-Qassam Brigades announced they had targeted the Sufa military base, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stationed at the Rafah Border Crossing, the area near the Holit settlement, and the operations center at the Karem Abu Salem military base.
Al-Qassam reported launching several 114mm "Rajoom" rockets at these positions.
Meanwhile, "Israel’s" Channel 12 reported that four rockets had been fired from Gaza toward surrounding areas.
An IOF spokesperson confirmed that their forces were "striking Hamas targets across the Gaza Strip."
Marking the anniversary of Operation Aqsa Typhoon, which began on this day in 2023, Al-Qassam Brigades stated, "Our fighters breached enemy lines, took control of military outposts and settlements around Gaza, and inflicted heavy losses on enemy soldiers and settlers, leaving them dead, wounded, or captured."
