UN Secretary-General António Guterres
Israeli Occupation bars UN chief Guterres from entering occupied territories
On Wednesday, the Israeli Occupation declared UN Secretary-General António Guterres a "persona non grata," meaning he is barred from entering the occupied Palestinian territories in response to his failure to condemn the Iranian missile attack.
"Israeli" Foreign Minister Israel Katz stated in a press release that "anyone who cannot condemn the heinous Iranian attack on Israel does not deserve to set foot on Israeli soil," claiming that Guterres is "an anti-Israel secretary-general who supports terrorists, rapists, and murderers."
Katz added that Guterres, whom he accused of supporting "the killers from Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and now Iran, the sponsor of global terrorism," would be remembered as a stain in the history of the UN for generations to come.
Following the Iranian missile attack on "Israel" on Tuesday evening, Guterres condemned the "escalation of conflict in the Middle East," denouncing the "escalation upon escalation" in the region. He stated, "This must stop. We need a ceasefire."
