"Israeli" ambassador in Cyprus denies kidnapping rumors

The "Israeli" ambassador to Cyprus, Oren Anolik, denied reports that he was kidnapped on Wednesday morning.

In a video statement on X, Anolik confirmed he was safe and had not been kidnapped, saying he was in good health.

Earlier, rumors falsely attributed to Reuters claimed the ambassador and his security team were abducted along the coast of Cyprus and taken to an unknown location.
