Beirut Airport left empty as airlines cancel flights

25-09-2024 20:32|Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut witnessed an unusual scene as it was left nearly deserted, with many airlines canceling flights to and from the city amidst rising political tensions and Israeli Occupation aggression in southern Lebanon.
Typically bustling with passengers and tourists, the airport's halls and corridors were strikingly empty. According to the airport's official website, over 30 flights were canceled on Tuesday alone.
"Israeli" airstrikes targeting Hezbollah positions across various areas in Lebanon on Wednesday resulted in 51 casualties and over 223 injuries, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
