Hezbollah claims missile strike on Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv
Hezbollah claimed on Wednesday morning that it had targeted the Mossad headquarters in the suburbs of Tel Aviv by launching a "Qader 1" ballistic missile.
In a brief statement, Hezbollah said the strike targeted the headquarters responsible for assassinations and the explosion of pagers and wireless devices.
Sirens were heard in Netanya and Gush Dan in Tel Aviv, as well as areas in central occupied Palestine on Wednesday morning, according to Hebrew media reports.
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) Radio confirmed that, for the first time since the start of the war on Lebanon, missiles were fired from Lebanon towards Tel Aviv.
Meanwhile, the IOF assault on southern Lebanon escalated, with an increase in both the scale and number of airstrikes.
“Israeli” airstrikes continue to hit Lebanese areas, bringing the death toll to 558, with 1,835 injured and thousands displaced, according to figures from Lebanon’s Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday.
