Council of ministers approves rationale for 2024 Government Leadership System

The Council of Ministers on Monday approved the rationale for the draft Government Leadership System for 2024 and referred it to the Legislation and Opinion Bureau for the necessary approval procedures.

This draft is part of the public sector modernization efforts and aims to establish a comprehensive framework for managing and empowering government leadership.

The system seeks to ensure the government’s ongoing need for qualified and systematically trained leaders is met, in line with national priorities and future visions. It also aims to regulate all processes related to government leadership.

Once approved, the 2024 Government Leadership System will replace the Leadership Appointment System No. (34) of 2021.
