Israeli Occupation military announced the commencement of extensive airstrikes on the Beqaa Valley in Lebanon, targeting residential buildings and infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

Major streets in the city of Sidon and the roads leading to it are experiencing severe congestion due to the ongoing aggression and the intense bombardment by "Israeli" forces on towns and villages in southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Monday that approximately 356 individuals, including children, women, and emergency personnel, have been killed, with more than 1,246 injured in the initial toll of the Israeli Occupation aggression on Lebanon since the morning.

The Cabinet has approved an urgent proposal by Defense Minister Yoav Gallant to declare a state of maximum emergency –also known as a “special situation on the home front”– throughout the Israeli Occupation.

Gallant made the proposal against the backdrop of a reported assassination attempt of senior Hezbollah official Ali Karaki in the suburbs of the Lebanese capital Beirut – according to Hebrew media.
