Jordan experienced a series of tragic events last week, marked by brutal crimes and fatal accidents that left multiple people dead or seriously injured.

Man Kills Father

Early in the week, a man killed his father and buried the body in Ruweishid to hide the crime. After an investigation, security forces tracked the suspect to a location in the capital, arrested him, and began interrogations.

A security source revealed that a report was filed about a missing man in Ruweishid. A criminal investigation team was formed to search for the man. The investigation revealed that the missing man's son had fatally stabbed his father following a family dispute. With the help of a relative, the son buried the body to conceal the crime. The relative was arrested, and the body was recovered and sent for forensic examination.

Man Kills Mother and Sister

In another horrific incident that shocked the Jordanian public, a man fatally shot his mother and sister, while another sister sustained injuries and is still receiving treatment. Security forces apprehended the suspect at a border checkpoint as he attempted to flee the country.

The incident reportedly occurred after the man demanded money from his family, which they refused. Enraged, he drew an unlicensed firearm and shot them. A source close to the investigation revealed that the mother and sister were killed instantly by gunshots, and the second sister was hospitalized with injuries. The bodies were handed over to the family for burial.

Fatal Car Accident in Azraq

In yet another tragic event, a devastating car accident in Azraq claimed the lives of four people, including one of Arab nationality, while two others sustained moderate injuries.

A security source confirmed the fatalities and stated that the injured were also of Arab nationality, with their conditions described as stable. The incident has once again stirred public grief across Jordan.
