Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Hezbollah, went live on Thursday evening to address the series of communication device explosions in Lebanon.

Nasrallah began by expressing condolences to the martyrs of the recent explosions in Lebanon and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. He also thanked those who donated blood across Lebanon.

He explained that the events of the past two days prompted him to speak, describing Tuesday’s incident as a coordinated attack that simultaneously targeted and detonated thousands of pager devices, with no regard for the consequences.

Nasrallah emphasized that the Israeli Occupation was aware that 4,000 pagers were distributed among Hezbollah members, indicating a deliberate attempt to kill 4,000 people in a single minute.

He added that "Israel’s" plan for the following day was to kill thousands more by targeting wireless device carriers.

Over two days, the enemy aimed to kill 5,000 people within two minutes, showing complete disregard for humanitarian concerns.

Nasrallah labeled the operation a major terrorist act, a massacre, and a declaration of war.

He noted that many injuries were minor and that some pagers were either out of service, distant, or had not been distributed.

Nasrallah stated that an investigation is underway to uncover the full details of the attacks, from production to detonation, and that actions will be taken accordingly.

He acknowledged that Hezbollah had suffered an unprecedented blow, both security-wise and in human terms, in the history of its resistance and perhaps the entire conflict with "Israel".

"There is no doubt we have been dealt a major blow, but this is the nature of war," Nasrallah said.

"When we enter this conflict, we rely on effort, jihad, and endurance, and we have triumphed many times before," he added.

Nasrallah praised the human efforts and eagerness of the people, which helped minimize serious injuries. He explained that this determination thwarted much of the enemy's plan to kill 5,000 people.

He also mentioned that multiple internal investigation committees were formed and that they have reached a near-certain conclusion.

"This massive blow will not and cannot bring us down," Nasrallah affirmed, calling the events of Tuesday and Wednesday a declaration of war.

He pointed out that some pager devices were far from their users, and others had not yet been distributed.

Nasrallah stressed that Hezbollah will emerge stronger and more determined, highlighting that the frontlines have been highly effective in pressuring the Israeli Occupation. He cited the enemy’s actions and statements as proof.

"When the enemy says that what is happening in the north is Israel's first historical defeat, it confirms the effectiveness of our front," Nasrallah stated. "The forces Israel has deployed to the north show it is facing a real threat."

He noted that "Israel’s" loss in the north forced Netanyahu and Gallant to find a solution, as the northern front remains one of the key battlegrounds of attrition.

Nasrallah added that it is also a significant bargaining tool for the Palestinian resistance to halt the aggression on Gaza.

He explained that "Israel" exerted heavy pressure and threats to stop the southern front, and this led to the recent escalation.

Nasrallah revealed that on Tuesday, Hezbollah received messages through official and unofficial channels, demanding they stop supporting Gaza and cease fire from the south.

Nasrallah added that the occupation aimed to weaken Hezbollah's support base through the recent explosion, trying to compel it to concede. However, he stated that this goal was thwarted during the events of Tuesday and Wednesday.

He also highlighted the high morale and determination of the injured, their will to return to the battlefield, and their commitment to this mission as a powerful response to the Israeli Occupation’s objectives.

He concluded by affirming that Hezbollah will not bow to threats or halt its support for Gaza.
