Fog, slippery roads: Weather advisory issued as rain hits parts of Jordan
The Jordan Meteorological Department has reported a slight chance of light rain showers on Monday morning in the western parts of northern and central Jordan, with moderate northwesterly winds, occasionally picking up speed.
At night, the weather will be relatively cold in mountainous areas and mild elsewhere, with low-altitude clouds expected.
The department also warned of reduced visibility due to early morning fog over the highlands and the risk of slippery roads in areas that might experience rainfall on Monday morning.
Weather for Wednesday and Thursday
Temperatures will rise slightly, bringing moderate weather across most areas and relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some low-altitude clouds. Northwesterly winds will remain moderate, occasionally becoming active on Wednesday and Thursday, according to the meteorological forecast.
At night, it will remain relatively cold in the mountains and mild in other regions.
