Light jacket needed; cooler temperatures expected this weekend in Jordan

Weather forecasts indicate a drop in temperatures across Jordan on Friday, creating ideal conditions for outdoor activities. However, a light jacket may be necessary during the evening hours – per ArabiaWeather’s forecasts.

The weather will be generally mild to typical summer conditions throughout the country, with hot temperatures in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea area. Highs will range from the upper 20s to low 30s Celsius in most regions, including the capital, Amman, while temperatures may exceed 40°C in the Jordan Valley. 

On Saturday, temperatures are expected to decrease further, approaching or slightly below the average for this time of year. The weather will be moderate with low cloud cover, and northwesterly winds will pick up in the afternoon, bringing strong gusts.

Minimum temperatures are also forecasted to drop over the weekend, leading to very pleasant and gradually cooling conditions at night. Expect refreshing weather across the kingdom, with increased humidity and low cloud cover that may lead to fog in some high mountainous areas, particularly in the north.
