Jordan defeats Palestine 3-1 in World Cup 2026 qualifiers

3 weeks ago|Jordan won their second match of the final round of World Cup 2026 qualifiers.
Jordan took an early lead in the 4th minute with a goal by Yazan Naimat. However, Palestine responded with an equalizer in the 41st minute, scored by Wisam Abu Ali.
In the second half, Jordan regained the lead, and then made it 3-1. The game was played in Malaysia, where Palestine has chosen to hold their home matches.
Noor Al-Rawabdeh scored the 3rd goal for Jordan.
Jordan previously drew 1-1 with Kuwait in their opening match, while Palestine had a goalless draw against South Korea. Both teams are part of Group B, competing for a spot in the 2026 World Cup.
