Public holiday in Jordan on Monday, Sept. 16

The workday on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, will be suspended in observance of the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday.

The announcement specifies that all ministries, official departments, public institutions and agencies, public universities, municipalities, joint service councils, Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), and government-owned companies will cease operations on Monday.

The announcement exempts ministries, official departments, and institutions where the nature of their work requires otherwise.
