Six-year-old child dies after third-floor fall

A six-year-old child died after falling from a third-floor apartment in the town of Al Mashare' in the Northern Jordan Valley.

The child was taken to the emergency department at Abu Ubaidah Ibn Al-Jarrah Hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival due to severe injuries sustained in the fall on Wednesday evening, according to the hospital's director, Dr. Muayyad Al-Shakour.

The child's body has been transferred to the Forensic Medicine Center in the northern region for further examination.
