Jordanian field hospital delivers vital medical supplies to Gaza

The Jordanian Field Hospital South Gaza/3, under Royal directives, has provided medical assistance to the Palestinian Ministry of Health – a statement by the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) said today.

On Monday, the commander of the Jordanian Field Hospital South Gaza/3 stated, "In line with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to stand by our brothers and sisters in the Gaza Strip, and with direct follow-up from the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army, the field hospital has delivered medical supplies to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. These supplies aim to support their hospitals, which are suffering from a severe shortage of medical necessities amid the challenging conditions in the Strip."

Representatives of the Palestinian Ministry of Health expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the efforts of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, and for Jordan's unwavering support in providing medical and therapeutic services to the people of Gaza. They emphasized that this assistance will significantly alleviate the suffering of many in the region.

The Jordanian Field Hospital in South Gaza has provided medical and therapeutic services to approximately 171,000 patients since beginning its mission on November 20, 2023.
