Hamas: Mohammad Deif is alive

Osama Hamdan, a senior Hamas official, denied on Thursday reports that Mohammad Deif, the head of Hamas' military wing, Al-Qassam Brigades, was killed in an “Israeli” airstrike on Gaza.

Despite Israeli Occupation claims, Hamdan affirmed that Deif is still alive.

Hamdan accused “Israel” of escalating attacks on Hamas leaders following the group's preliminary acceptance of a recent ceasefire proposal.

Deif, known for surviving seven assassination attempts, is referred to as the "Master of Disguise" and the “Man with Nine Lives."

The Jewish Chronicle, a London-based Jewish weekly newspaper, reported new details about an attempted assassination of Deif over two weeks ago, revealing that “Israeli” soldiers disguised as beggars and vegetable vendors were involved.

Hamdan also addressed media reports suggesting difficulties in communicating with Hamas leadership, including Yehya Sinwar.

He clarified that while challenges exist due to the ongoing aggression, communication remains effective and the leadership is managing well.
