Hamas official assassinated in “Israeli” airstrike in Lebanon

An “Israeli” airstrike hit a vehicle on the Sidon-Hosn road in Lebanon with two missiles – per Roya’s correspondent.

Later, it was confirmed that the “Israeli” military assassinated Hamas official Samer Haj in the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp.

A Lebanese security source told Agence France-Presse (AFP) that “An Israeli strike targeted a Hamas movement security official from the Ain al-Helweh camp while he was inside his vehicle in the city of Sidon.” 

An AFP correspondent saw emergency personnel pull a charred body from the vehicle while soldiers cordoned off the area.
