Woman arrested by “Israeli” police over necklace
The Israeli occupation police said they arrested a 23-year-old Palestinian woman in Jerusalem, citing allegations of incitement and supporting terrorism. The arrest was made due to her possession of a necklace shaped like a map of Palestine.
The necklace featured an engraving of the words "Operation Aqsa Typhoon," referring to the events of Oct. 7, 2023 carried out by Palestinian resistance, mainly Hamas.
“Israeli” police claimed that the woman was detained on charges of incitement and supporting terrorism after the necklace was found during a search, which they considered an incitement to terrorism.
The police further alleged that, following an extensive investigation, additional evidence was uncovered linking the woman to incitement. Her detention has been extended multiple times, and an indictment is expected to be filed against her soon.
