Netanyahu's 'civilized nation' boast covers for war crimes, says Barghouti

Palestinian leader Mustafa Barghouti strongly criticized “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent address to the US Congress, accusing him of misrepresenting the Israeli Occupation’s actions in the ongoing war on Palestinians. 

Barghouti, a member of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO), issued a statement condemning Netanyahu's portrayal of “Israel” as a "civilized nation," arguing that the speech was riddled with falsehoods and promoted Islamophobia.

Netanyahu speach in the American congress is full of lies and is advocating Islamophobia. He describes his war crimes of Genocide, collective punishment, and ethnic cleansing as “ civilization”.

"Netanyahu’s speech in the American Congress is full of lies and is advocating Islamophobia," Barghouti stated. “He describes his war crimes of Genocide, collective punishment, and ethnic cleansing as ‘civilization.’”

"The civilization that Netanyahu boasts about is, in reality, the degradation seen in the killing of 48,000 Palestinians in Gaza," Barghouti added.
