Trump to meet with Netanyahu in Florida on Wednesday

Former US President and current Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump announced plans to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida on Wednesday.

Netanyahu's visit to the US is surrounded by strategic maneuvering, according to Hebrew media.

Israel’s Channel 12 reported that Netanyahu intends to arrive with "all the cards" in hand, aiming to engage US President Biden and gain attention for the exchange deal.

Channel 12 further highlighted that there has been no recent progress in the negotiations, despite previous decisions to dispatch a delegation.

This delegation has yet to materialize, adding to the uncertainty surrounding the deal.

The report suggests several possibilities for Netanyahu’s visit: he might discuss the deal in the context of Saudi normalization or the acquisition of specific weapons.

There is also speculation that he could choose to announce the deal either at the White House or in Congress.

Another viewpoint is that Netanyahu may be reluctant to visit Washington while his government is on the verge of dissolution, potentially delaying his approval of the deal until after the visit.

A source familiar with the negotiations indicated that Netanyahu is concerned about his visit losing significance if he agrees to the deal while his government is collapsing.

Meanwhile, a US administration official has stated that the US is not setting a final deadline for Netanyahu's visit concerning the deal.

They also noted uncertainty about Netanyahu's willingness to finalize the agreement, with ongoing difficulties and delays complicating the situation.
