The Roya camera captured several drivers, including those of government vehicles, violating traffic regulations by driving against the flow or ignoring no-entry signs in Jabal Al-Hussein and Wadi Al-Ramm in Amman.

The drivers proceeded normally on these roads despite the clear signs. Among the violators were a public taxi and a bus with government plates, all caught disregarding the no-entry signs.

The law stipulates that those found driving against the designated direction on divided roads face vehicle impoundment for 24 hours to 30 days, imprisonment for 1 to 3 months, or a fine between JD 250 and 500, or both. The driver's license could also be suspended for two months. This violation incurs 3 points on the traffic point system.

The driver's license is revoked for 60 to 180 days based on the number of points accumulated. For 16 to 20 points, the license is revoked for 60 days. For 20 to 24 points, it is revoked for 90 days. For 24 to 28 points, it is revoked for 120 days. For more than 28 points, the license is revoked for 180 days.
