Kamala Harris promises to “win” 2024 presidential elections
US Vice President Kamala Harris officially accepted the Democratic nomination for the 2024 presidential election following US President Joe Biden's withdrawal and endorsement.
In an official statement posted online, Harris expressed her gratitude for Biden’s support and outlined her commitment to winning the nomination and the upcoming election.

"I am honored to have the President’s endorsement and my intention is to earn and win this nomination," Harris said.
"Over the past year, I have traveled across the country, talking with Americans about the clear choice in this momentous election,” she continued. “And that is what I will continue to do in the days and weeks ahead. I will do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Party — and unite our nation – to defeat Donald Trump and his extreme Project 2025 agenda."
“With 107 days remaining until Election Day, Harris emphasized the urgency and significance of the campaign. "Together, we will fight. And together, we will win," she declared.
President Biden’s endorsement, coupled with support from influential figures like Bill and Hillary Clinton, underscores the party's unified front in backing Harris.
As Harris embarks on this crucial phase of her campaign, she faces the challenging task of compelling the Democratic base and appealing to undecided voters, all while countering the challenges posed by her opponents.
