“Smotrich is unbearable, should be dismissed,” says “Israeli” minister

“Israel's” Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Gila Gamliel, called for the dismissal of Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich amidst tensions over a proposed hostage exchange deal with Hamas, she told “Israel’s” Channel 13 on Thursday.

Gamliel urged “Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to take action against Smotrich, labeling his discourse as "unbearable" and insisting that there is no justification for blocking the deal. 

"Smotrich’s threats, for that he should have been fired immediately," Gamliel asserted.

Gamliel further criticized Smotrich and his far-right coalition allies, particularly National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, describing them as a "burden" on the government. She suggested that their resignation would not be detrimental to the coalition's stability.
