Hezbollah’s Nasrallah warns “Israel” of targeting untouched settlements
Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah warned that continued “Israeli” targeting of civilians in Lebanon will prompt the resistance to strike settlements “previously untouched.”
In a speech commemorating Ashura in Beirut's southern suburbs (Dahieh), Nasrallah said that Hezbollah launched around 120 rockets at Kiryat Shmona and other settlements last night in response to the targeting of civilians.
Nasrallah emphasized that rumors of an agreement regarding the situation on the Lebanese front are untrue, noting that the future of the situation in the south will be determined by the outcome of the battle, in which the resistance and support fronts will prevail.
He warned the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) against launching a ground operation in southern Lebanon, stating, "If your tanks come to Lebanon, there will be none left."
He added, "To those who threaten us with war and want us to surrender to the occupation's crimes and stop supporting the oppressed in Gaza, we say: never to humiliation!" – a famous quote said on day of Ashura from Imam Husayn ibn Ali when he was offered to either surrender of accept war by an Umayyad commander.
"For the first time in its history, the Zionist entity is experiencing its worst days, as acknowledged by its political and military leaders," Nasrallah said.
"We have opened the Lebanese support front in the Operation Aqsa Typhoon in support of the Palestinian people, just as the Yemeni and Iraqi support fronts have opened."
In recent weeks, escalation between Hezbollah and “Israel” has increased, raising fears of a full-scale war.
Since October 8, Hezbollah has been carrying out daily operations against the IOF in northern occupied Palestine using rockets, shells, and drones, resulting in the deaths of 31 soldiers and settlers.
