Tourism plummets: Jordan sees ~8% less tourists in 2024

16:17 2024-07-15|Tourism income in Jordan fell during the first half of this year to USD 3.3 billion, a 4.9 percent decline compared to the same period in 2023.
According to preliminary data from the Central Bank of Jordan, the decline is attributed to the 7.9 percent decrease in the number of tourists.
Tourism income in Jordan in June saw a growth of 2.1 percent compared to the same month in 2023, reaching USD 643 million.
