“God bless Trump,” posts Ben-Gvir
“Israel's” National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, extended his well-wishes to former US President and Republican candidate Donald Trump after he was injured in a shooting incident during an election rally in Pennsylvania.
In a brief post on X, Ben-Gvir wrote, "God bless Trump."

Ben-Gvir took this opportunity to criticize the current US administration under President Joe Biden, highlighting his preference for Trump's approach to “Israeli”-American relations.
He stated that "Trump would have provided greater support to Israel," referencing the "generous support" that “Israel” would have received if Trump were in power during the ongoing war in Gaza.
In a previous interview with the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) last February, Ben-Gvir remarked, "Trump would have given Israel a freer hand to eliminate Hamas. Instead of Biden giving us full support, he is busy providing humanitarian aid and fuel to Gaza, which goes to Hamas."
Ben-Gvir further criticized Biden's administration in May, writing that "Hamas loves Biden" after Washington suspended an arms shipment to “Israel” following Tel Aviv's initiation of a large-scale military operation in Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.
According to Ben-Gvir, Biden's policies do not sufficiently serve "Israeli" interests, whereas he believes the Trump administration would have pursued an approach more closely aligned with Tel Aviv's objectives in the region.
