Plane crash near Moscow claims all lives onboard

All passengers were tragically killed after a plane crashed in a forested area near Moscow on Friday. The Russian regional passenger plane was on a test flight following recent software repairs.

The plane, which was carrying three crew members, none of whom survived, crashed approximately an hour and a half after takeoff, Russian media agency RIA Novosti reported.

The crash occurred in a forested area in Kolomenskoye, a municipality located about 60km southeast of the capital, Moscow.

Photos from the scene showed plumes of smoke rising from the crash site.
