$100 million in aid for Palestine announced by USAID

The United States announced that it will provide USD 100 million in aid for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

The funding aims to provide efficient and safe delivery of lifesaving humanitarian aid across Gaza and logistics support through assisting the operations of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) – a statement by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). 

This brings the total of USAID’s funding to Palestine since Oct. 7 to over USD 774 million.
