The Traffic Department warned drivers against driving against the flow of traffic. This violation, particularly on divided roads, posed significant risks to drivers and road users.

The penalty for driving against traffic direction, as outlined in Article 26/b/10 of the Traffic Law, included imprisonment from one to three months or a fine ranging from 250 to 500 dinars, or both. Additionally, driver's licenses and vehicles could be confiscated for 14 days, and driving licenses could be suspended for two months.

The Traffic Department emphasized its commitment to ensuring road safety around the clock. They urged drivers to comply with road signs and directions, noting that avoiding such violations was crucial for protecting lives and property.
