“Israeli” Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, openly advocated for the execution of Palestinian prisoners by gunfire.

"Bullets should be fired at the heads of prisoners, instead of giving them more food," Ben-Gvir declared in a video broadcast by “Israeli” media on Sunday, emphasizing the necessity of passing the controversial Otzma Yehudit law, which advocates for the execution of Palestinian detainees.

Abdullah Zaghari, head of the Palestinian Prisoners Society, condemned Ben-Gvir's remarks, stating, "These statements are no longer surprising from a minister representing a regime engaged in genocide against the Palestinian people."

Zaghari highlighted that Ben-Gvir's advocacy for violence against prisoners has transcended mere rhetoric, with documented cases of executions and killings since the start of this ongoing aggression.

The Palestinian Ministry of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Society reported on Sunday that “Israeli” forces have arrested over 9,450 Palestinians from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, since October 7.

Zaghari further accused Ben-Gvir of personifying a complete occupation system aimed at eradicating Palestinian existence.

He cited rampant human rights abuses, including torture, starvation, medical neglect, forced disappearances, and harsh detention conditions, as evidence of the regime's brutal policies.

"This is another facet of the ongoing and relentless genocide being perpetrated in full view of the international community," Zaghari asserted, urging global human rights organizations to intervene.

Zaghari concluded by calling on the international community to reassert its moral responsibility and take decisive action to address the humanitarian crisis unfolding under the occupation's policies.

He warned that continued inaction would embolden further crimes under the guise of erasure operations and the suppression of Palestinian existence.
