Director of Provincial Contracts at Aqaba Water Company, Mohammad Al-Mahamid, emphasized the company's commitment to finding solutions for water supply issues in certain areas of Karak Governorate, especially Al-Mazar Al-Janoubi District, amid rising temperatures. Field teams are closely monitoring water supply irregularities affecting some residents.

In a statement received by "Roya" on Monday, Al-Mahamid explained that the company has identified residents who have not received adequate water.

Supply teams began delivering water to these residents via tanker trucks on Sunday, ensuring current schedules are followed to guarantee fair distribution.

A meeting was held on Monday morning, chaired by the Governor of Karak and attended by administrative officials, the Director of Provincial Contracts, the Director of Karak Contract, and the heads of Muta and Al-Mazar Municipality and the Provincial Council.

They reviewed all water sector concerns in the governorate and agreed on a timeline for follow-up by Karak Contract staff in coordination with administrative officials.

Additionally, a tender will be issued this week for restoring several streets in Muta and Al-Mazar Municipality areas, after an assessment coordinated with municipal staff.
