Army: Two soldiers martyred after military aid truck veered off course

A senior military official in the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army reported a tragic accident involving three military trucks this afternoon.

The trucks, part of a convoy delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza, veered off course on the Dead Sea road near Adasiya – according to an official statement by the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF).

The accident resulted in the deaths of Sergeant Imad Atta Aref Al-Aram and Private 2nd Class Yahya Othman Yahya Al-Sayeh, both from the Royal Supply and Transportation Directorate. Two other soldiers were injured and are in moderate condition.

The General Command of the Armed Forces mourns the loss of the two soldiers, and extends condolences to their families, comrades, and loved ones. The command wishes the injured a swift recovery.

The Jordanian Armed Forces remain committed to continuing the delivery of humanitarian aid to support the people of Gaza in overcoming their difficult circumstances.
