Jordan condemns Nuseirat camp massacre

Jordan condemned today the brutal attack by the Israeli Occupation on the Nuseirat refugee camp on Saturday, which resulted in the martyrdom of 150 Palestinians and the injury of hundreds, in a practice that reflects the systematic targeting of Palestinian civilians – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The ministry added that this represents a flagrant violation by the occupation of international law and humanitarian law, and its continued commission of war crimes.

The official spokesperson for the ministry, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Al-Qudah, reaffirmed the Kingdom's condemnation and absolute denunciation of “Israel's| continued commission of genocide crimes in the Gaza Strip.

Gaza is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe due to the aggression since October 7, in flagrant violation of international law, international legitimacy resolutions, and the international will calling for an end to the war that has claimed the lives of tens of thousands of innocent civilians – Al-Qudah added.

Ambassador Al-Qudah also called on the entire international community, especially the UN Security Council, to urgently and promptly act to stop “Israel's” war crimes in Gaza, and to compel it, as the occupying power, to comply with the rules of international law and humanitarian law and to cease its futile war on the Gaza Strip.
