Silver Jubilee sparkles across Jordan
Jordan is gearing up for a grand celebration of the Silver Jubilee, marking 25 years since His Majesty King Abdullah II ascended to the throne. A diverse range of events and activities are planned across all Jordanian governorates, catering to all age groups and interests.
The festivities will take place on Friday and Saturday, June 7th and 8th, spanning various locations across the kingdom. In addition to the capital Amman, events will be held in Irbid, Jerash, Madaba, Balqa, Rusaifa, Zarqa, Ajloun, Karak, Mafraq, Tafilah, Aqaba, and Maan.
The celebrations will feature a vibrant array of activities tailored to all ages and preferences. Children will be entertained with special programs and games, while traditional handicrafts bazaars will showcase the talents of local artisans. Dazzling fireworks displays will illuminate the night sky, and captivating cultural and folkloric performances will bring Jordanian heritage to life.
Aqaba, the Red Sea port city, will host extended festivities over three days, offering an even more immersive experience for visitors.
